How to watch Jio TV on Kodi (Solved!)

Step 1: Download & Install Kodi

First thing is, you need to have Kodi 20.2 installed on your PC or Phone. You can download Kodi from here: Kodi Download.

Once you launch Kodi, you will see this window.

Step 2: Disable Updates

In order for Jio TV Kodi Addon to work, you need to disable the “Auto Updates”. 

To disable that, Go to settings > System > Add-ons > General “Updates: Never Check for Updates”:

Step 3: Enable Unknown Sources

Now you need to enable unknown sources. We need to install 2 add-ons here. For that you need to enable the unknown sources option, right below the Updates option.

Step 4: Install Module Script

Now, you need to install the Module Script. Download the module script from below link:

script.module.requests-2.27.1+matrix.1

Once downloaded, it’s time to install it. Go to home screen > add-ons > Install from zip:

From here, choose the downloaded file and click on OK. Once the installation is done, you will see this message:

Step 5: Restart Kodi

In order for the add-on to work, you will need to restart Kodi. If you are on a PC, just close and open Kodi.

If you are on a Android Device, make sure to close the Kodi App, then remove it from recent list. This way you will know for sure that Kodi is closed. Then you can again open Kodi from your App list.

Step 6: Install Jio Tv Kodi Add-on

Now it’s time to install Jio Tv Kodi Addon. You can download the Jio Tv Kodi Add-on from below link.

Once downloaded, you can now go to Kodi > Add-ons > and Choose install from zip as shown below:

Choose the Kodi Jio Tv Add-on and click on OK. This will install Jio Tv Kodi Addon. Then you will see a success message like this:

Step 7: Login to Jio Tv from Add-on

Once the installation is done, you will be asked to login. Choose Login Method as Keyboard:

Choose OTP and enter your Phone Number:

Now, you will see a OTP option. Enter the OTP you received and click on done.

You should see a success message. If you try logging in again from Home > Addons > Jio Tv. Just click on it, it will give a popup again called “Keyboard or Web” Choose Keyboard, and try logging in again with Phone number.

Once the message is success you will see this message: 

Step 8: Play a Live Channel

Now you can try playing a live video on Jio Tv. It will ask for WideWine installation. Click ok, then I accept. That’s it.

Now, you have Live Jio Tv working on Kodi:
